Cash on delivery is how much of Ghana buys. The hard part was never collecting it. It was knowing what came back, from which order, and when it reaches you. We collect at the door, reconcile it per parcel and settle it to your account.
When delivery and payment are separate systems, the reconciliation is yours to do, usually in the evening, usually from memory, usually with a gap you decide not to chase.
Here they are the same record. The rider who hands over the parcel is the rider who takes the money, and both are logged against the same order number at the same moment.
Three lines that always add up, each openable down to the parcel.

Cleared collections are paid across on your settlement cycle, with a statement that ties every cedi back to an order.
Take whichever the customer has at the door, on the same order.
Never a lump sum you have to unpick against a day of deliveries.
Short, refused or uncollected, each named against its parcel.
Collected, awaiting settlement and paid to you, always adding up.
COD rides on the delivery network. Turn it on with the account and it applies to the orders you choose.
